World's Largest Seafood Trade Fair Will be Held in Brussels April 2010
The European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe will be held in Brussels, Belgium between Tuesday 27 April and Thursday 29 April, 2010. These co-located events make up the world's largest seafood event, drawing buyers and sellers from 144 countries, and featuring the stands of more than 1600 exhibiting companies, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to ESE.
In its 18th year, the European Seafood Exposition continues to be the most important event for companies looking to enter and access the strength of the European seafood market. Exhibiting companies represent the full range of seafood products available; fresh, frozen, packaged, aquaculture and complimentary seafood products will all be on display.
Co-located with the European Seafood Exposition, Seafood Processing Europe features the stands of equipment, processing, packaging, technology and services companies. In its 12th year, Seafood Processing Europe continues to add additional value to exhibitors and visitors to the event, making three-days in Brussels one-stop shopping for attendee's seafood and seafood processing needs.
2010 will also mark the 10th year of the prestigious Seafood Prix d'Elite new product awards competition, held alongside the fair. The Seafood Prix d'Elite recognizes the best new seafood products entering the European market within the last year. Two grand prizes are awarded for Best New Retail Product and Best New Foodservice Product, and special awards are given out for Health and Nutrition, Convenience, Retail Packaging, Originality, and Best New Product Line. Winners will be honored at the Seafood Prix d'Elite Awards Reception, on Tuesday 27 April from 18h15 to 20h00 in Auditorium 2000. All attendees, exhibitors and registered media are invited to attend. Winning entries will also be on display at the Seafood Prix d'Elite stand.
Although the exposition is more than two months away, the European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe 2010 are already shaping up to be a remarkable event.
