USA is Norway's fourth biggest Norwegian Salmon market in February 2010
Norwegian Salmon exports to the USA in February increased in value by NOK 124 million. This is 238% up on the same month last year, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ with reference to NSEC.
The strongest growth was in fresh Norwegian Salmon fillets. The volume of exports increased from 448 tonnes in February last year to 1,948 tonnes in February this year. Frozen Norwegian Salmon fillets is also an important product segment on the US market, where the volume of exports increased from 300 tonnes in February last year to 771 tonnes in February this year.
