Stolt-Nielsen S.A. Nominates New Director
Stolt-Nielsen S.A. (Oslo Bors: SNI) announced that Christina De Luca has been nominated to join the SNSA Board of Directors. Mrs. De Luca will be proposed for election at the company's next shareholders' meeting, increasing the number of SNSA directors to seven, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to Stolt-Nielsen S.A.
Mrs. De Luca, has held a number of executive leadership positions at BP and Amoco over the past two decades and will bring extensive experience in supply-chain management and corporate strategy to the SNSA Board. She is currently BP's Chief Procurement Officer, Refining & Marketing, a position she has held since 2005. Mrs. De Luca also serves as a board member at the Institute for Supply Management, the world's largest supply-management association, and is a former board member at Elemica, the leading supply-chain integration company with roots in the chemical and oil industries.
Mrs. De Luca holds a BS degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University and an MS degree in management from Stanford University. She is a fully qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply, and a Certified Professional in Supply Management, by the Institute for Supply Management. She is a citizen of both the United States and the United Kingdom.
