SPANISH LANGUAGE VERSION OF SIMRAD.COM GOES LIVE
In reflection of the thriving professional fishing industry and fishery research community in Spain, Simrad has implemented a Spanish version of its website to ensure its Spanish speaking customers have complete access to the wealth of information that the company offers online.
The Spanish version of http://www.simrad.com/ can be reached by selecting the language at the top right corner of the home page. This then loads a Spanish language version with identical content and style as the English version.
As the leading technological player in hydroacoustics for professional fishing and fishery research, Simrad's website is a goldmine of information on Sonar, Echosounders and trawl instrumentation, which are all fields that can only be described in technical terms, making the implementation of a Spanish language version a time consuming challenge.
"Translating the information from the English language site, and the continuing work of keeping it up to date as more information and products are regularly added takes a significant amount of resources," comments Agustin Mayans, Managing director, Simrad Spain. "I'm pleased to say now though, that all of our customers in Spain can now have access to the same in-depth information that our English speaking counterparts have."
