Seafood Processing Europe off to a good start
The annual three-day event, European Seafood Exposition held in Brussels, Belgium, is the largest seafood trade fair in the world, attracting buyers and sellers from more than 140 countries. This year, more than 200 companies from 22 countries are exhibiting their products and services, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to Marel.
The volcanic ash doesn‘t seem to have prevented many people from attending the show and the Marel stand was filled with products and people yesterday. Customers showed keen interest in the range of standard applications we are demonstrating at the show. The innovative Marel SuperChiller was also very well received and customers were eager to know more about the benefits of superchilling their products in order to extend shelf life, increase product quality and maximize yields.

The Innova "Production Office" display has drawn a lot of attention as well. Fish processors are clearly interested in gaining access to better information and more control of their production processes, which the Innova production control software provides more efficiently than any other system available.
To top it off, all our guests have been spoiled with delicious food prepared by our gourmet Chef, a member of the Icelandic Olympic culinary team.
