SalMar - Acquisition of Bringsvor Laks
SalMar has entered into an agreement to acquire 100 % of the shares in Bringsvor Laks AS, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to SalMar.
Bringsvor Laks owns and operates two farming licenses outside Sandsøya, in the Ålesund area in the Møre og Romsdal County. The company has no smolt or harvesting facilities. Bringsvor Laks plans to harvest about 1 800 tonnes gutted weight in 2011, mainly in the first half of the year. Purchase price for the shares is set to NOK 141 million.
