Russia's Ministry of Justice endorsing order on export and import permits

Russia's Ministry of Justice has approved the order of the Federal Fisheries Agency No.526 dated 18 June 2009 specifying the routine of issuing and registration of export and import permits, reports www.fishnet-russia.com (www.fishnet.ru) with reference to the Agency.

Along with the above, the order specifies rules for issuing and registration of certificates for re-export and introduction of sturgeon, eggs inclusive, from the sea. Besides, the same order provides for introducing amendments, suspending and annulling of issued permits and certificates. The approved regulations are aimed at implementing obligations of the Russian Federation which come from the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
