Russia's government seeking to boost efficiency of fishery complex

Government of the Russian Federation has made a decision to create a working group to handle the issues connected with the analysis of efficiency of the state management of the fishery complex and to elaborate proposals of its improvement.

The working group to be chaired by deputy head of the government's administration staff will work under the state commission for implementation of the administrative reform, according to the press-service of the government.

Some experts say the development should be taken as a prelude for establishment of Ministry of Fisheries up from the current less powerful Federal Fisheries Agency.
