Russia's Federal Fisheries Agency authorized to draw up list of objects of fishery

Under the order No. 577 dated 28 July 2008 Chairman of the Government Vladimir Putin has authorized the Federal Fisheries Agency to draw up a list of species of aquatic biological resources to be classified as objects of fishery, according to Russia's Federal Fisheries Agency.

The decision complies with Article 15 of the Federal Law "On Fishery And Conservation Of Aquatic Biological Resources", Part 1 of which says that "List of species of aquatic bioresources, which are classified as objects of fishery, shall be approved by the authorized federal executive body".
