Russian vets suspend seafood imports from Japan
Russia has suspended imports of fish and seafood from 242 Japanese plants due to the accident at the Fukushima nuclear power plant, reports www.megafishnet.com.
The restrictions were introduced by Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) after an analysis of threats and risks which arose after the accident on the Fukushima-1 nuclear power plant.
