Russian vets lifting temporary restrictions for seafood import from British plant

Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has lifted temporary restrictions for fish, fish products and non-finfish shipments from the British plant, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to the Service.

More specifically, under the Service's Directive No.FS-GK-4/12301 dated 4, October, 2010 the British plant No. UK ВВ 097 EC has been cleared for export to the Russian Federation as of 10, October, 2010.

The Service's directive No.FS-GK-4/10138 dated 18, August, 2010 has been declared no more valid.
