Russian vets introducing temporary restrictions for seafood import from Latvian processor

Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has introduced temporary restrictions for seafood shipments from Latvian processor, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/) with the reference to the Service.

More specifically, under the Service's order No.FS-NV-2/3003 dated 2 April 2010, Rosselkhoznadzor has introduced temporary restrictions for seafood shipments from the Latvian plant No.LV 44 Z as of 5 April 2010 in connection with disclosed violations of veterinary and hygiene requirements and standards of the Russian Federation.

In case of delivery of seafood products shipped from the above mentioned plant before 5 April 2010 the decision on its entry should be taken in routine order.
