Russian vets introduced temporary restrictions for importation from Vietnam

As of 21 October 2008 Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor is introducing temporary restrictions for importation to the Russian Federation of seafood products from the Vietnamese processing factory DL 359 due to disclosure of hazardous listeriosis pathogen, reports https://www.fishnet.ru/ (http://www.fishnet-russia.com/) with reference to an official release of the authority.

Along with introducing the temporary restrictions, the Russian vets will inspect its subordinate objects on the territory of the Russian Federation for presence of seafood products made by the above plant. Respective departments of Primorsky Krai Territory (capital Vladivostok) have been already instructed accordingly.
