Russian vets cancelling restrictions for seafood importation from Norwegian plant

Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor has lifted temporary restrictions for seafood importation from a Norwegian plant to the territory of the Russian Federation, reports www.fishnet-russia.com (www.fishnet.ru) with reference to the Service.

More specifically, under the directive No. FS-AS-4/10268 dated 22 September 2009 the Russian vets have lifted restrictions from the Norwegian plant No. N-541.

Therefore the Service's directive No. FS-NV-4/878 dated 6 February 2009 has been declared no more valid as of 23 September 2009 in the part concerning introduction of temporary restrictions for seafood export from the above mentioned Norwegian plant.
