Russian vets and SERNAPESCA finalizing inspection schedule for Chilean vessels and plants

SERNAPESCA has approached Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor with a request to inspect in August 2008 fishing vessels and processing plants from Chile which are interested in the exportation of their products to the Russian market, according to an official release received by http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/) on 15 April 2008.

At present, 13 Chilean plants have been approved for export to Russian Federation. At the meeting between the interested parties the texts of the protocol and agenda of cooperation between SERNAPESCA and Rosselkhoznadzor to be signed in August 2008 in Chile have been finalized.
