Russian Statistics Bureau reporting financial results of seafood companies in January-February 2010
In January-February 2010 the financial balance (profit less loss) of fish businesses (less small businesses, banks, insurance companies and budget organizations) amounted to +920.6 billion RUB in the current prices, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/) with reference to provisional figures of Russia's Statistics Bureau.
Along with positive dynamics of catches (+19%) and seafood production (+15.5%) the financial balance has also been rising. In January-February 2010, as compared to the respective period of 2009, the financial result in the fishery industry has jumped 13.5 times to 2.2 billion RUB. At the same time, there are some alerts as the share of profitable companies in the seafood industry has decreased by 2.2% to 65.2%.
