Results of seafood export from Vladivostok in January-March 2007
In January-March 2007 export of finfish and other aquatic species harvested by the vessels based in Primorsky Krai (capital Vladivostok) and landed at foreign ports without calling at home (beyond the Russian customs zone) amounted to 83.8 million USD (54,400 tonnes) reflecting a drop by 21.1% on the same period last year, according to IA Regnum.
Through the above mentioned period export of frozen and fresh fish without calling at home ports amounted to 38,953 tonnes, mollusks - 69.5 tonnes, fish fillets - 8345 tonnes, shellfish - 1123 tonnes, fishmeal - 4003 tonnes, fish waste - 213.1 tonnes, liver, roes and milt - 1657 tonnes.
Primorye exported seafood to six countries with the largest volumes going to South Korea - 35.5 million USD (42,4%), China - 23.2 million USD (27.7%) and Germany - 18.8 million (22.5%).
