NAVICO STRENGTHENS PRODUCT MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION
Navico, the global market leader in marine electronics for the recreational boating segment, has strengthened its product management organization appointing experienced marine electronics product manager Louis Chemi as Executive Vice President for Product Management.
Chemi - who brings more than 12 years of marine industry sales & marketing and product management experience - joined the Navico Executive Team on May 1, tasked with leading the product management organization, the group responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of products within Navico's brand portfolio. Chemi will report to Navico CEO and President Jens-Thomas Pietralla and is based in Acton, Massachusetts.

Chemi brings extensive product management experience to the Navico Executive Team with prior positions in engineering, marketing, and sales, in both the recreational and commercial fishing industry. Most recently, he was Senior Global Product Manager at Raymarine, responsible for multifunction display products, GPS, PC software and various accessory products.
Chemi holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science in Applied Marine Physics from the University of Miami.
He is an avid fisherman and boater and holds a 100 ton US Coast Guard Master's license.
