In 2021, the list of countries for the export of fish products has been expanded to include such countries of West Africa as Benin, Cote d'Ivoire and Togo (in 2020, the products were exported only to Nigeria as regards Africa). More specifically, shipments with a total weight of 20.9 KT have been exported to West African countries, said the Russian vet watchdog.
In addition, since the beginning of the year, 6.6 thousand tons of seafood have been shipped to Japan, 705 tons to Thailand and 494 tons to Vietnam.
Small shipments were also made to Jamaica.
Officials of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration checked the compliance of all export shipments with the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union and the requirements of the importing countries.
