TOP20 countries of origin of seafood imported to Russia in January-March 2012
In Q1 2012 Russian importers purchased on the world market 240,600 MT of seafood products at the total value of nearly RUR 17.7 billion. All products were imported from 49 countries with Norway remaining undisputable leader both in volume and in value, reports www.megafishnet.com.
The country’s share was as high as 48.54% in volume and 48.66% in customs value. Other important producing countries were Iceland, Estonia and China.
