The Rosselkhoznadzor Detects Unsafe Canadian Meat Products

Monitoring activities for banned and harmful substances revealed mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms in frozen pork produced at Plant no. 484 (Alimets Asta Inc); E.coli in frozen hake produced at Plant No. 1908 (scanner enterprises); mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms and E.coli in frozen hake produced at Plant no/ 0772 (Sung Fish Company Ltd.); E.coli in frozen hake produced at Plant No. 0947 (leader Cold Storage Ltd); mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms in frozen pork trimmings produced at Plant No. 419 (Great lakes Specialty Meats of Canada Inc). All these facts are violations of the CU and Russian veterinary and sanitary requirements. Since it these were single violations the Rosselkhoznadzor imposes enhanced laboratory control over products from these plants.
