Prices for fish products from Russian Far East remaining stable in mid-July
In mid-July 2021 the market participants in the Russian Far East have been mostly keen on the salmon season progressing in the Basin, reports Megafishnet.com.
According to producer sources in the area, seafood delivery tariff from Vladivostok to Moscow by railway has appreciated to RUR20-21 per kg. Coldstores have been stuffed with fish products.
Salmons
As the fishing season has been gathering momentum, the supply of Pacific salmons on the domestic market has been growing.

Alaska pollock
The demand for HG pollock is weak due to the low demand season. Prices have remained stable with a downward trend.
On the international market Russian HG pollock 25+ fetches USD1,300-1,350 per tonne CFR China.

Pacific Herring
Summer herring has been traded from RUR48.00 per kilo of 200-300g product. Producers are mostly willing to deliver herring to the international market.
