Overview of seafood exports from Russian Far East in October 2011
In October 2011 shipments of frozen pollock roe and salmon roe from Russia to main foreign markets were fairly high as reported by Russian exporters. Besides, shipments of frozen salmon and frozen crab were brisk, just like shipments of live crab to Japan (to say nothing of a very serious price rise), according to the overview prepared by analysts of http://www.megafishnet.com/ based on Japanese, Russian and American sources.
Throughout the year 2011 the price dynamics for Russian imports was rather positive than negative, though market observers were not quite sure that the upward trend would continue in the coming year 2012. The thing is that problems in economic situation nearly in all developed countries of the world have been growing more and more complex.
