Moscow salmon and trout market pins hopes on February festivities
In late February Russians will traditionally celebrate Defender of the Fatherland Day which will normally help increase the salmon and trout sales, reports Megafishnet.com.
Meanwhile, salmon prices on the Russian market are relatively stable. Even demand also prevents prices of raw materials from rising.
On the other hand, prices of chilled Atlantic salmon from Murmansk are higher as the fish quality is allegedly much better than in the previous harvests.
Among other news, large chilled sea trout from Turkey is expected to arrive in March.
