In mid-August 2021 salmon and trout prices in Moscow stay calm
In August 2021 chilled salmon and trout from Murmansk have been traded at surprisingly good prices on Moscow’s wholesale market, reports Megafishnet.com.
In the meantime, the salmon trade has been calm. After the Chilean salmon price jumps the demand has disappeared. There are even small inventories of large Chilean trout that has not been on offer for a long time. Some traders forecast a slight fall of current prices in the end of August.
The Faroese salmon has been traded at steady prices, while chilled salmon and trout from Murmansk have been sold at very good prices. Buyers are in waiting mode again and are cautious about purchasing large volumes.
