Marine Harvest appoints Director for a new Global Sales & Distribution organisation
Marine Harvest ASA has appointed Ola Brattvoll (born 1968) as Group Director for the new Business Unit Global Sales & Distribution. The new Business Unit will be in operation from 1. January 2011, reports www.megafishnet.com (www.fishnet.ru) with reference to the company.
Mr. Brattvoll has broad experience from the salmon industry and is currently Vice President of Lerøy Seafood Group's sales organisation H. Lerøy AS. His previous positions in Lerøy Seafood Group include Market Director and Market Director for Japan. In addition Mr. Brattvoll has previously represented the Norwegian Seafood Export Council in different countries.
Mr. Brattvoll holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Tromsø (1994) in Economics and Marketing related to the seafood industry.
