Largest farmed salmon producer Marine Harvest Norway AS decreasing shipments to Russia
More specifically, in 2010 the company's export volume to the Russian market totaled 17,595 metric tons (down from 20,264 tonnes in 2009). The company's share on the Russian market also decreased from 2.31% in 2009 to 2.01% in 2010. The decline made the company descend from the 4th to the 6th place in the rating of seafood exporters to Russia.
As for export value the company maintained its leadership in Russian seafood exports, but the value got reduced from RUR2,989,934,519 (market share 5.59%) in 2009 to RUR2,888,859,263 (market share 4.73%) in 2010.
