Russia to auction quota shares in areas under international agreements
On October 5, 2021, the Federal Agency for Fishery (FAF) will hold an auction to distribute the shares of quotas for the harvesting of aquatic biological resources provided to the Russian Federation in the areas of international agreements in the field of fisheries, reports Megafishnet.com.
FAF signed the corresponding order No. 511 on August 26 current.
Applications for participation in the auction are accepted from August 27 to October 1, 2021.
The shares of quotas remaining unallocated according to the results of the "bid campaign of 2018" are put up for auction, namely:
— three lots of blue whiting in the area of NEAFC regulation in the North Eastern Atlantic Ocean;
- three lots of blue whiting in the area of regulation of the Mixed Russian-Norwegian Fisheries Commission;
— one lot of blue whiting in the area of regulation of the Mixed Russian-Faroese Fisheries Commission in the Fishing Zone of the Faroe Islands;
— one lot of haddock in the area of regulation of the Mixed Russian-Norwegian Fisheries Commission.
