Russia getting ready to export seafood to Indonesia
Russian seafood producers are making plans to export to Indonesia as the redtape to enter the country’s market is entering the final stage, reports Megafishnet.com.
According to Rosselkhoznadzor, Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance and the Fish Quarantine and Inspection Agency (FQIA) of Indonesia’s Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) have approved veterinary certificates for export of the following products from Russia to Indonesia:
- food fish and fish products;
- fishmeal;
- Artemia cysts.
Rosselkhoznadzor will also send to colleagues from the competent department of Indonesia lists of Russian enterprises interested in supplying these controlled goods to the Indonesian market. Since these lists are agreed, Russian companies will be able to start exporting the products.
