Rosselkhoznadzor Participated in the Meeting of the Russian-Chinese Working Group on Issues of Animal and Plant Product Mutual Access
The meeting was held in Beijing. The Russian delegation was headed by Yevgeny Nepoklonov, Russian Chief Veterinary Officer, and Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor. During the discussion of fish meal export to China the Russian party mentioned that lists of fish meal producers have not been updated since 2013 and that’s why new Russian establishments cannot export this product to China. The Chinese party, in its turn, requested the Rosselkhoznadzor to submit additional information of fish meal producing establishments and ensured that it will update the list of Russian fish meal producers on the AQSIQ web-site a week upon receipt of necessary information from the Russian party. Besides, the Chinese party confirmed its readiness to inspect Russian safety control system and send the list of the AQSIQ delegation members in the nearest possible time. The Russian party expressed readiness to receive the AQSIQ delegation and render assistance in carrying out the inspection. The Chinese party approved fish meal export from establishments enlisted in 2013. The Chinese party informed the Rosselkhoznadzor representatives that updated lists of Russian fish processing plants and vessels supplying live fishery species to China were published on the AQSIQ web-site. The lists are also published on official web-sites of the Rosselkhoznadzor and National Centre.
