Peterfood held in unusual format (PHOTOS)

Despite widespread restrictive measures, the Peterfood-2020 exhibition was held in St. Petersburg, reports Megafishnet.com.

Producers, who have long been missing communication, gathered at Expoforum. The event was held under the supervision of Rospotrebnadzor, which controlled the provision of safe conditions for participants and guests. Unfortunately, the business program of the exhibition was moved online and shifted to December 1.

No wonder there were not very many brave people, and the exhibition area was smaller than usual. On the other hand, it seriously reduced the number of loitering visitors, the scourge of Russian food exhibitions. Almost all visitors were professionals.

The exhibition was small, therefore, and there were few fish on display. Three companies from Vladivostok plus three companies offering river fish - that's all. However, each of them held quite a lot of negotiations. That was greatly facilitated by the Program Active Chain Participation – a trademark of the organiser Imperia-Forum. It is not so easy to meet face to face with the buyers of retail chains, but at Peterfood this opportunity is offered to all participants.
