Official results of Russian fisheries in 2011
Russia's Federal Fisheries Agency has officially published final results of the nation's fishing sector in 2011, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ with reference to Head of Analytical information agency on fisheries Timur Mitupov.
In 2011 Russia's total catch amounted to 4,264.8 thousand MT, 5.61% up on 2010 (4,083.3 MT). The harvest was dominated by Alaska pollock (36.9%), salmons (12.2%) and herring (10.6%).
