Major Chinese show generating seafood export contracts for Russia’s Far East

In November 2018 a number of fish processing and fishing companies based in Vladivostok-led Primorskiy Krai (Primorye for short) exhibited their products at the largest Asian international show China Fisheries & Seafood Expo, all of them now working at export contracts with new foreign partners, according to Primorye Government.

More specifically, six Primorye companies joined forces for participation in the major Chinese seafood show. They exhibited their products at a single regional stand. As a result of the trip, all enterprises are afoot to enter into contracts with new foreign partners and plan to raise exports of their products to the international market.

The Export Development Center

Participation of Primorye companies in the show hosted by Qingdao (PRC) was organized by the regional Export Development Center.

The Center aims at promoting products and services of Primorye manufacturers to international markets via their participation in global exhibitions. Towards that end the Centre helps entrepreneurs get ready for the necessary customs procedures and prepare goods in accordance with the international standards. Besides, the Centre subsidizes the management fees, costs for design and erection of the exhibition pavilions, including working space to hold talks with potential partners.
