Concerning the Information on Detection of Russian Wheat Containing High Ochratoxin Levels in Lebanon

Due to news reports on detection of high ochratoxin level-containing wheat imported from Russia by the Lebanese Ministry of Health we deem it appropriate to inform that no notifications from the Lebanese side were received by the Rosselkhoznadzor, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to Rosselkhoznadzor.

In order to get more details about this issue the Rosselkhoznadzor sent a request to the Russian Embassy in Lebanon. The Rosselkhoznadzor also gave instructions to its Territorial Administrations to enhance control of Russian grain export consignments.
