Big Russian stand to highlight processed fish at Seafood Expo Global
Dozens of Russian firms are going to exhibit at Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona in September later this year with the display focus of the national stand moving from raw to processed fish, reports Megafishnet.com.
According to Expo Solutions Group, the Russian national stand will occupy an unprecedented 1072 m. sq. as at least 43 companies already confirmed their participation as per early April. These include Norebo, NBAMR, FEST, Sigma Marine Technology, Antey, Lenin Fishing co-op, Karelrybflot, Murman SeaFood etc. For the first time Dalreftrans, Luxsol and Okeanrybflot will also exhibit.
The national stand will be different this time as a shift is being made to marketing of processed products. Among participants there will be many companies producing fillets, canned fish and convenient products. For example, Vityaz-Avto with a ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat range, Kamshat with perch fillet and other lake fish products, Astrakhan region stand with companies exporting river fish fillets.
One more exhibitor Lenin Fishing co-op will promote its high-quality products made at the recently commissioned fish processing factory targeting, apart from Russia, the European and American markets.
For the first time fishing gear and equipment will be presented on the national stand. For example, the net making plant Luxsol will show its products for aquaculture.
The biggest Far Eastern operator of reefer containers Dalreftrans will highlight the opportunities of shipping fish to Europe while the leading Russian crab catching companies Antey, Sigma Marine Technology and the Russian Crab Group will exhibit their crab range.
