Increase in export price of fresh Norwegian salmon

In the period from 18 January to 24 January, the export price of fresh salmon came to NOK 28.92 per kilo. This is an increase of 2.7 per cent from the previous seven-day period, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ with reference to Statistics Norway.

The export quantity of fresh salmon was 10 891 tonnes in the period from 18 January to 24 January, an increase of 0.8 per cent from the period 11 January to 17 January.

Norway exported 1 003 tonnes frozen salmon at NOK 31.70 per kilo in the period from 18 January to 24 January.
