Frozen fish market situation in Murmansk as per 9 October 2007
As per 9 October 2007 some movement is certainly taking place on frozen fish market, market players based in Murmansk told http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/).
Price of blue whiting has been fluctuating between 21.00 до 22.00 RUB per kilo. Meanwhile wholesalers are prepared to buy blue whiting at a price of RUB21 per kilo.
The price of herring 200 - 300 g continues to grow.
This week more landings of herring are expected, but share of small-sized herring 200 - 300 is not large.
Buyers however are not prepared to buy herring at a current price range RUB17 - 18 per kilo.
The price of small-sized capelin (45-55 pcs/kg) has been ranging from RUB25 to 28 per kilo, big-sized capelin is sold at a price of 34.00 - 34.50 RUB per kilo.
Many offers of bottom fish species are being observed on the market.
