Frozen fish market situation in Murmansk as per 9 December 2008
As per 9 December 2008 the fresh frozen fish market situation has been marked by a number of changes, market players based in Murmansk told http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/).
The week has been marked by increasing prices of herring and blue whiting.
At the same time the prices of ground fish have come down. For example, the cod 1- (frozen on-shore) has been sold at RUB65.00 per kilo.
The prices of capelin of the Russian origin have decreased as the size of the species has been rather small.
