Frozen fish market situation in Murmansk as per 17 September 2007
Wholesale prices of frozen fish have not changed much this week, market players based in Murmansk told http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/).
Blue whiting is offered at a price of 19 RUR per kilo.
Whole herring 200-300 has stabilized at the level of 13 RUR per kilo. Prices of big count herring 300+ have come up slightly to 23.70 - 26.00 RUR per kilo.
The prices of mackerel head off have stayed unchanged since last week and are now 52 RUR for mackerel 200 - 300 and 200 - 400 grams. The prices of headed mackerel 300+ have remained at the level of 63 RUR per kilo.
Small Icelandic capelin is offered at a price of 28 RUR for 45 - 50 fish per kilo. Canadian capelin 30 - 40 pcs per kilo is sold at a price of 34 RUR.
