Frozen fish market situation in Murmansk as per 11 September 2007
Heat has slightly abated in Central Russia to trigger a moderate demand for blue whiting and herring and by the 36th week 2007 blue whiting prices have come up to RUR20.00 per kilo.

Cod IQF prices fluctuated from RUR70.00 to RUR 80.00. Saithe prices ranged from RUR 47.00 on products from Norway up to RUR 52.00 of Russian origin.
On small scale wholesale market new offers of big-sized capelin from Canada have appeared ( count 30-40 pcs/kg).
