Five seafood firms listed in largest company rating

"Expert North-West" journal has made up another rating of the 250 largest companies in the North-West region according to the volume of sales. Among them there were 5 companies, specializing in both fishing and seafood processing. This list comprises "Murmansk Trawl Fleet", "Fish Processing Combine No.1" (ROK-1 for short), "Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet", "Vichiunai-Rus" and "Morskaya Zvezda" (Maritime Star). It was significant to note that in 2006 all these companies boosted their gross revenues. "Fish Processing Combine No.1" showed the highest growth rate, increasing sales volume by 33.1% to 3.357 million RUB, followed by "Vichiunai-Rus" with 1.863 million RUB (+14.9%), "Morskaya Zvezda" (Maritime Star) with 1.663 million RUB (+14.1%), "Murmansk Trawl Fleet" with 4.040 million RUB (+13.5%), and "Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet" with 2.007 million RUB (+6.8%).
