HB Grandi’s quota allocations for the 2015/16 quota year
According to the allocations made by the Directorate of Fisheries for the 2015/16 quota year, HB Grandi’s vessels have a total of 38,661 cod-equivalent tonnes. This is a lower figure than for the previous year when the company had 40,125 cod-equivalent tonnes and its quota share was 10.67%.
This year the cod quota available sees the greatest increase at 909 tonnes. The haddock allocation is also increased, while saithe, Greenland halibut and Icelandic summer-spawning herring are all reduced.

The above allocations apply only to groundfish species and Icelandic summer-spawning herring allocated for the quota year. Quotas for shared stocks, such as Atlanto-Scandian herring, mackerel, blue whiting and redfish are allocated separately, as are quota for cod in the Barents Sea.
