FISHBIO and VAKI join forces

VAKI has the pleasure of announcing that FISHBIO has been appointed as a Sales Agent for Riverwatcher Fish Counter in the U.S., reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to VAKI.

FISHBIO is an environmental research and consulting company.  FISHBIO have made an effort to get the right people involved in finding fresh solutions to today's ecological challenges. Or as they say themselves "FISHBIO is a dedicated group of scientists, engineers and technicians that specialize in counting, tracking, and documenting fish and other wildlife throughout the world".

Since 2003 FISHBIO have used the Riverwatcher Fish Counters in two rivers, the Tuolumne River and Stanislaus River to count migrating salmonids. They have had good results with the Riverwatcher and will employ their experience in providing sales and service for our customers in the U.S.

Doug Demko, a fisheries biologist and president of FISHBIO and Ryan Cuthbert a fisheries biologist with FISHBIO visited VAKI's headquarters last August and have attended field trips to look at Riverwatchers and digital camera systems in many rivers in Iceland.
