Export of fish and shellfish from Vladivostok to China in first quarter 2010
Export of seafood products from Primorye (capital Vladivostok) to China in the 1Q increased twice, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/) with reference to Statistics office of Primorye.
More specifically, seafood export (harvested by fishing vessels inside and off the limits of Russian waters, territorial sea, continental shelf, Russian EEZ both delivered for customs clearance and not subjected to delivery for clearance on the Customs territory of the Russian Federation) in January - April 2010 amounted to USD292.5 million increasing twice in comparison with 2009 figures. In terms of volume, it amounted to 209,300 tonnes, up 2.2 times in comparison with the previous year level.
Russian fish and non-finfish products were supplied in January - April 2010 to 15 countries. Mostly to China - USD94.7 million (32.4%), Republic of Korea - USD82.3 million (28.2%), Japan - USD45.1 million (15.4%) and Germany - USD26.1 million (8.9%).
