EU food and veterinary inspectors to visit Russia
A group of EU inspectors of Food and Veterinary Service of Directorate General for Health & Consumers will come to Russia on 12 - 27, May 2011 with inspections, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/.
The inspectors will evaluate control of manufacture process for the fish products aimed for exportation to EU countries.
The EU experts will visit Kamchatka and Primorye, Sakhalin, Arkhangelsk, Kaliningrad and Murmansk to inspect coast fish processing plants, fishing vessels, landing, freezing and storing facilities and veterinary laboratories which are in charge of inspections of fish products meant for exportation to EU market.
During their Murmansk visit experts will also visit one of Norwegian ports where a large number of Russian vessels from North-West of Russia is located.
From the Russian side, the EU inspectors will be accompanied by colleagues from National Safety Center for Fishery and Aquaculture products and Russian vets.
