Directive No. FS-NV-4/4770 dated 19 May 2008 of Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor
Due to discovery, during monitoring tests, of forbidden and harmful components in fish products from New Zealand and processed at the plant PH 187, Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor has imposed temporary restrictions on the import of products from the plant, according to an official release received by http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/).
Due to this fact, from 1 June 2008 all the import of fish, fish products and non-finfish products from the plant PH 187 is temporary banned.
In the event of products shipped before 1 June 2008 the procedure of products clearing is performed in accordance with the existing rules. The material for laboratory tests is to be taken by regional offices of Rosselkhoznadzor together with the regional vet bodies and only at the places of products storing specified by import permits issued by Rosselkhoznadzor.
