Directive No. FS-GK-4/7858 dated 7 August 2008 of Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor

Due to discovery, during monitoring tests, of forbidden components (high content of mercury) in fish products from Ecuador and processed at the plant EU 398 Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor has imposed temporary restrictions on the import of products from the plant as of 20 August 2008, according to an official release received by http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/).

In the event of products shipped before 20 August 2008 the procedure of products clearing shall be performed in accordance with the existing rules. Regional offices of Rosselkhoznadzor shall take the material from each product lot to conduct laboratory tests for forbidden and harmful components according to the directive of Rosselkhoznadzor No.FS-SD-2/3536 dated 18 April 2007.
