Directive No. FS-AS-4/2370 dated 18 March 2008 of Rosselkhoznadzor (Russia's vet watchdog)

Based on the results of laboratory testing of seafood coming from India and processed at the plant No. 1102 Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor has discovered violations of the Russian veterinary and sanitary regulations, according to an official release received by http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (www.fishnet.ru).

Due to this fact, from 1 April, 2008 the Russian vet authorities have imposed restrictions on the Indian plant No. 1102 and banned the import of seafood products from this plant onto the territory of the Russian Federation.
