Russian Aquaculture's Board of Directors re-elected Ilya Sosnov as CEO
Russian Aquaculture's Board of Directors has re-elected Ilya Sosnov as the company's CEO until 2024, reports Megafishnet.com.
"Ilya Gennadyevich Sosnov is elected as the general director of PJSC Russian Aquaculture from July 18, 2021 to July 17, 2024 inclusive," the company said in a statement.
Sosnov came to the company from Sibur-Russian Tires. In 2012-2013, he was the financial Director of the Russian Sea Group of Companies.
"Russian Aquaculture" is one of the leading companies in the Russian fish market, specializing in commercial fish farming. It was founded in 1997 as the Russian Sea Group of Companies. Currently, the group, under the management of the company, owns the rights to 36 sites for growing Atlantic salmon and rainbow trout. The total volume of potential cultivation in these waters is about 50 thousand metric tons of salmonids.
The net profit of "Russian Aquaculture" at the end of 2020 decreased by 4% compared to the previous year under IFRS and amounted to 3,113 billion rubles (ca.$42 million).
