Pacific Andes takes legal action

Hong Kong-based Pacific Andes International Holdings Ltd. is taking legal action against a Singapore-based website, pacandes.com, which is trading as Pacific Andes International in the sale and distribution of seafood products, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to SeafoodSource.

Having made all reasonable enquiries, the company wishes to clarify that none of the company, its controlling shareholder, subsidiaries and associates of the company, or any directors and officers of any member of Pacific Andes Group, has any connection with, nor interests, in the business of the Singapore company.

The company has instructed lawyers to investigate this matter and shall take all legal actions necessary to protect the interests of the company and its shareholders, the company said on Monday.
